Terms of Service

Effective: July 26, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Atelier's websites, web application, browser extension, AI connector, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, using the Service, or connecting Atelier to another service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Atelier provides project, client, vendor, product, schedule, pinboard, procurement, and business-management tools for interior design firms. Features may include automated extraction and AI-assisted workflows. We may improve or change the Service over time and will provide reasonable notice when a material change significantly reduces paid functionality.

2. Accounts & Studios

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized use. A "Studio" is the shared workspace controlled by the organization that creates or administers it. Studio administrators are responsible for inviting users, assigning permissions, and determining what content may be stored or shared.

You may use the Service only if you are legally able to enter into these Terms and are authorized to act for the Studio you join. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

3. Customer Content

You and your Studio retain ownership of information and materials submitted to the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant Atelier a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and modify Customer Content only as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide Customer Content, including client, vendor, employee, image, contract, and product information. You are responsible for configuring access appropriately and for obtaining any notices or consents required by law.

4. AI Features & Connected Services

AI-generated or extracted results may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, sharing them with a client, placing an order, making a payment, or taking another consequential action.

If you connect Atelier to ChatGPT, Claude, or another third-party service through MCP or another integration, you authorize Atelier to exchange the information required to complete your requests. Your use of that third-party service is also governed by its own terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect the integration through that service's connection settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not:

6. Fees & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing and billing cycle shown when you subscribe. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge applicable fees and taxes. Except where required by law or expressly stated in the applicable order, payments are non-refundable.

7. Atelier Property

Atelier and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, documentation, trademarks, and other materials, excluding Customer Content. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription in accordance with these Terms.

8. Confidentiality & Security

Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect it and use it only to perform under these Terms. Atelier uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Service or cancel a subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay amounts due, or use the Service in a way that could harm Atelier, our users, or others. When practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure.

Following termination, access to Customer Content may end. Contact us before termination if you need help exporting data. We may retain or delete information as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by law.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Atelier disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Atelier does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI or extracted outputs will be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Atelier will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Atelier's total liability arising out of the Service will not exceed the fees paid by the applicable Studio for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
